You can install the add-in directly from Microsoft AppSource. Search for "GoIndia Stocks" in the AppSource store or in Excel via Insert → Get Add-ins. Click Add, and the add-in will appear as a task pane within Excel. Once installed, sign in with your GoIndia account to activate your subscription and start pulling data.
What Excel versions are supported?
The add-in supports Excel for Microsoft 365 (Windows and Mac) and Excel Online. Excel 2016 and 2019 with an active Microsoft 365 subscription are also supported. Older standalone versions of Excel (2013 and below) are not compatible with Office Add-ins and will not work.
How do I log in or connect my GoIndia account?
Once the add-in is open in the task pane, click the Sign In button and choose Continue with Google. You'll be prompted to authorize access using your Google account linked to your GoIndia subscription. After a successful login, your account will be connected and data will load based on your subscription plan.
The add-in is showing an error or not loading data. What should I do?
First, check your internet connection and make sure you're signed in. Try signing out and back in from the task pane. If the issue persists, close Excel completely and reopen it. In some cases, clearing Excel's add-in cache helps — you can do this via File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings → Trusted Add-in Catalogs. Which exchanges and companies are covered?
GoIndia Stocks covers companies listed on both the NSE (National Stock Exchange) and BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange). You can search and select from thousands of listed Indian equities directly within the add-in's dropdown. Coverage includes financials, ratios, price data, and more — depending on your subscription plan.
